Susan Corbett




Susan trains over 30 National Hunt and Flat horses at Girsonfield. Before becoming a trainer, Susan managed the stud farm and benefits from over 25 years of experience working with thoroughbred horses.

Frank Corbett


Farm Manager


Frank oversees the management of Girsonfield Farm. Amongst his many responsibilities, Frank provides quality haylage for the Stud and Yard.

James Corbett


Conditional Jockey & Assistant Trainer


James started his career at the British Racing School and has since gone on to achieve his conditional jockey license. As well as being the Yard jockey, James supervises the horses' daily work plan.

  Carolyn is Girsonfield's primary veterinary surgeon.

Emma Tully

As well as being the recipient of numerous best turned out prizes, Emma is a brilliant work rider.

Ross Wilson

Category B Amateur Jockey

Ross is the Yard's amateur jockey and has enjoyed success in Point-to-Points.  

Lewis Duffy


Lewis maintains the Yard and has had previous experience at Shadwell Stud as well as other trainers' yards.

Paul Taylor

Work Rider

Paul is an experienced work rider. He undertakes extra responsibility for breaking youngsters on the Yard.

Josh is an experienced work rider, having worked with a number of trainers in his career.

Work Rider

Prior to joining Girsonfield, Beth worked in Eventing. She is both enthusiastic and hardworking.
