The veterinary care provided is excellent - making sure your mare has the best possible chance of
being in foal when she comes home.

Jamie Corbett
Work Rider / Amateur Jockey
Jamie Corbett works full time at Girsonfield. He attended the British Racing School and completed his NVQ 2 in Racehorse Care earlier this year. He is now doing his NVQ 3 and has recently received his Amateur Licence. Jamie breaks and schools the horses here and has his own Point to Pointers for the coming season.
Josh Duffy
Work Experience
Josh lives in the village and has been coming to Girsonfield from the age of 14, having his work experience here. Now he is weekend staff and recycles his wages into riding lessons. This winter he will help excercise our quieter horses and hopes to go to racing School next year.
Sam Eke
Stud Groom
Sam has worked at Girsonfield for almost 3 years. She has a BSc(Hons) in Equine Sports Science and Equestrian Psychology. Sam has three ex racehorses and she hopes to do some serious eventing - if her boss ever gives her any days off! Sam has a great manner with young horses and helps to educate the newly broken youngsters.
Jakub Kocman
Schooling
Jakub works part time helping to train and school our point to pointers. Jakub has had an excellent education in the Czech republic learning everything about the equine world from stud work to driving and dressage to racing! He is an ambitious young jockey and rides beautifully.
