Nominating Your Mare
- All mares must be swabbed before coming to the
stud.
- Veterinary care, to give your mare the
best chance of being in foal and for general wellbeing, is given at the
discretion of the stud manager and is charged direct to the client from the
Stud Veterinary Surgeon: C.D.Sutherland, MRCVS.- This will be discussed with
the client whenever possible.
- It is requested that mares be sent with good-fitting
headcollars and no hind shoes.
- All horses will be wormed on arrival at
the stud.
- Their feet will be trimmed as necessary whilst visiting the
stud.
- Although every possible care is taken of
the mares and foals while they are visiting the stud it is regretted that no
responsibility can be accepted for any accident or disease whilst they are in
our care. Clients are therefore asked to insure their mares and foals
accordingly.
