FERRULE Raced in Hong Kong and won 5 races and was placed 7 times. In his Group 1 races he was only beaten 7 lengths by ELECTRONIC UNICORN (Hong Kong Horse of the Year) over a mile and SILENT WITNESS (joint rated top sprinter in the world in 2004 and top in 2005) over 5 furlongs. Ferrules 3rd dam bred AL BAHATHRI the Irish 1,000 Guineas winner and was grand dam of HAAFHD the 2,000 Guineas and Champion Stakes winner, now sire at Shadwell Stud with a fee of £20,000. FERRULE is a full brother to GRANDIOSE IDEA, dam of DEMOCRATIC DEFICIT (winner of Craven Stakes and third to DUBAWI and ORATORIO in the Irish 2,000 Guineas). Ferrule has a faultless temperament and excellent movement - he does a good dressage test as well as being a top racing stallion! As a son of Danehill he has great credentials and is value at his stud fee.
