GIRSONFIELD - The Beginning Susan & Frank Corbett started out breeding their own point to pointers only eight years ago and now have their own stud with stallions chosen for their versatility, breeding and good value:- as well as winning racehorses they intended to point to point ! All the stallions standing at Girsonfield have excellent temperaments -
Located in Northumberland, just 1/2 mile from the village of Otterburn, the Stud is set in almost 600 acres of farm land with plenty of grazing and space for visiting mares. Care of the mares and youngstock is a priority with new fencing, stabling - including two foaling units with rubber flooring for the safety, comfort and hygiene of the mares and foals, and CCTV ensuring the foaling mares are supervised 24 hours a day. Previous clients have been impressed with the personal attention their mares received and the good condition they were in when returned home. - The latest development at Girsonfield is a new barn, horsewalker and lunge pen - kindly grant aided by the Rural Enterprise Scheme. The Stud offers the best of breeding at a reasonable
price - for stud fees, keep, boarding broodmares and youngstock all year
round. The fertility of the stallions is very high and the veterinary care excellent - making sure your mare has the best possible chance of being in foal when she comes home.
