The Stallions that are standing at Girsonfield all have excellent temperaments and very high fertility.
The veterinary care provided is excellent - making sure your mare has the best possible chance of
being in foal when she comes home.
Stock For Sale
We have an excellent selection of high quality horses for sale, including Brood Mares, Ponies and Youngstock.
Girsonfield Stud Racing Syndicate
This is a chance for people to get involved at the ‘grass roots’ of racing. From seeing the breeding plan to the birth and education of our young horses to their appearance on the race track.
This season we will have two home bred fillies that we hope to Point To Point in the spring:
Padon Kate – by Kadeed. She has been trained at Girsonfield and is looking to Point to Point very shortly.
Star of Night
– was placed 3rd ridden by Alistair Findlay in only her second Point to Point –
she will be rested now and we look forward to next year.
RACING River Mint –
He has has been trained so far at Girsonfield but may shortly
go to Chris Grant as we are very pleased with the ability shown so far.
You can see we have variety! Every two months we have a meeting at the stud to view the latest progress. We go racing when we have the opportunity and generally have fun – please do not join if you expect to make money – the only thing we can guarantee is a good time and to gain a greater knowledge of breeding and racing horses!
Membership starts at £520.00 per year.
